Gobbling Food or our Culture?





                                                                  Dear Readers,



It is needless to be laud enough for Rajsthan, I had been to there many a times for shooting and traveling purpose and visited a food and cultural place, called ‘CHOKHI DHAANI’; few kilometers away from Pink City Jaypore. A wonderful concept of food and rejoice together for 365 days , mammoth visitors from all parts of globe, will give you a feeling of mini World Mela out there. It is proclaiming the versatility of their rich food, culture and life-style in one place. This is too acclaiming the beauty of  Rajsthani  colorfulness and hospitality, that is what they are grabbing 70%  tourists out of India’s total foreign visitors.

Thank God I was not fainted down eating so much of food like Makki ki Roti,  Mirch ka Achar, the real home made Makhan, Daal-bati-churma, Lassi and so many. You will have to eat all these verity roaming around more then three four hours  riding Horse, Camel, Elephant, Bullock-cart in that cultural village. A very reasonable price which is being taken at the entrance, then eating is provided with so much of  love prepared in front of you by Grandma looking ladies and Bhai-logs; so you just can’t get rid of eating and eating and eating! At the same time every where you will find all kinds of cultural Dhamakas!  played by the local youngsters and winsome artists, really mind blowing!



 Chokhi Dhani in Rajsthani means ‘Small Village’, but I will say that small village is 100 times better than the food and culture of our big cities. Sorry, I never mean to denigrate any one because I am part of it. But I am not the person to enterprise or recreate a business and cultural place out here like that. Here  people have money, and they are venturing out Pizza-hut, McDonalds, KFC and so many bullshit non Indian concepts. Hardly anybody coming forward to restore our ethnic life-style, food, culture  and promoting  so many other things, which we are missing since our childhood . If our Govt. has any roll to encourage this kind of a Cultural Amusement Centre in our state or have their vission to do their own, Readers you please suggest!

Tobacco Kills or Government Kills?

Definitely everybody should initiate to quit tobacco or Alcohol for good health! But it is not all, because there are National and State Govt. are surviving with the mammoth Excise Duties, putting adhesive in their mouth to say any thing and bring about a law to stop it. There are few examples left in the past, some state Govt. had gone for Nasha-bandi or No Alcohol Act, but ultimately their Police Officers did the business to provide all products of Wine in market places unabashedly. With this kind of a ruling attitude one Govt. can’t finally ban the Tobacco products too. As resultant tobacco is appearing in colorful pouches and packets in every shops every day. As usually we may intend to throw innumerous massages through many social networks and posters, may able to deactivate 10 person every day, but another 20 new user will animate next day. So find the real solutions to rescue people from the hurricane of tobacco. Suppose we may give a call to Indian Ladies as the messiah, because they are generally less Tobacco and Alcohol users, If at all they will respond and react to take the task of setting fire to Tobacco products, breaking Wine bottles moving shop to shops, I don’t think it is so easy. Even if we will try to stop alcohol and smoking of our edicted Political Leaders of the Central team, including the Chief Minister, the state  Ministerial berth and MLAs, it will be utter failure; everybody knows. So how come we will reap some success over our mammoth frenzy youngsters?...Now you may try to evaluate some valid way-out!!

The Fake Political Kings!

Quite some time back I read an article about Narendra Modi, an exemplary Chief Minister, though he seems to be a Good-Samaritan; but in real life he is nothing but a very self-centric and leaden-hearted person. Hopefully he may not be loaded with more vices like other scoundrel politicians. Still his adamants is enough as a people's representative, and  this is the tragedy of our country, we choose this type of  obsessed or shrewd characters to be our Leader under compulsion. It applies to our present  Political and Spiritual Leaders too.These great leaders never apear to see how the poor people living, whether they are able to lit-up the stove or having the day meals or not; still  these Leaders think them self - The Savior of Mankind ! 

 

Same way there is  another Great example in Orissa, it is Babu NaveenPatnaik,an anarranged and sponsored catagory Leader first time in Indian political history, is sprinkling slow poison and misfortune for years on the heads of unfortunate Odias. Also his behaviour is witnessed similar to a tyrant  King  rather than a elected Chief Minister. Who never comes out to see common people's problems, if at all he comes , he never speaks more then - 'Yes, no, very good and I will see to it', like an old gramophone player's crack and very discordant note. Sorry to say which he  never comes out to see the dying people once in life time as per his promises.

 More over, just name shake  he is an Odia, he never tried to learn Odia in the last one decade and for the coming decades probably he doesn’t have a plan to stay in Odisha because may be his plans to spent last life in Antarctica;  so it is no point to learn Odia rather to learn the langunge of Penguines. But surprisingly he is emerging as a great Son of the Soil and great Chief Minister. Behind this phenomenal sucess, there are 100s of sycophants (the eunuch battalion) mending his image day and nite restlessly to reign over the sluggish State with a fake brand name.

Let me conclude with a remorse, if  a Political Leader get expose to mass or make more coteries around him, it will reveal his Vices and Shortcomings; will pave the way to ruin his Image and Power!
